If I already have an IBB N20-M and add another IBB will I need a modem to dial-in to each unit or can I daisy chain them, hence not need to get a modem in the second one? Thank you for your inquiry. According to DataProbe, the modem itself will only control the unit it is in. However, the modem can be used to send commands through the CLI (Command Line Interface) that would allow the control of additional iBootBars that are daisy-chained. But, the digital tone control feature would only work with the 8 outlets within the unit with the modem. For general control, you can still access the IBBs through an IP interface and control up to 128 outlets through a single IP address/web page. |
